Esther began working in small animal practice in 2017 and joined the APHA in 2022, working as a field vet in the East Midlands. Esther joined the Field Epidemiology team as a Veterinary Advisor in 2025 and is geographically aligned to the East Midlands, the East, and part of the Southeast of England. Her work involves TB and outbreak epidemiology, with an alignment to the pig species portfolio. Esther is also a veterinary volunteer for StreetVet, a charity providing free veterinary care to the pets of people experiencing homelessness.
