The OV Conference Online 2022 is set to return on 27–29 September, giving Official Veterinarians the chance to stay up to date with topics of interest and recent developments affecting the role. As the only event dedicated solely to the continuing professional development (CPD) needs of Official Veterinarians, it will offer up to 18 hours of CPD over the three days.

The programme consists of both lectures and panel discussions, with each session giving delegates the chance to get involved by submitting questions for the speakers. For those who are unable to attend all of the live sessions, recordings will be made available soon after the lectures have taken place, so delegates do not have to worry about missing out.

As always, the Conference is organised by Improve International, in association with the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA). Tickets are available to purchase for all vets, as well as Animal Health Paraprofessionals (AHPs), One Health Capacity Building (OHCB) delegates, nurses, practice managers and students.

In this fast-moving and regulated area, the OV Conference Online is the ideal opportunity to gain additional information on the most recent developments to affect the profession and your role within it.

Accessing the OV Conference Online 2022

The OV Conference Online is managed within a safe and secure Conference Space. In response to feedback from last year, the ticket purchase process has now been streamlined to improve the experience for delegates. This means that as soon as you have bought your ticket, you will have immediate access to the Conference Space and all of its content as it is updated in the months leading up to the event.

During the Conference, you will receive a daily email notification reminding you of each day's programme. Links for live broadcasts will be made available and presentations will be streamed via Zoom. These can be watched on any device with an internet connection, although for best results we do recommend using a desktop computer or a laptop.

Additionally, while logged in to the Conference Space, you will be able to talk to other delegates and view posts from speakers and attendees on the Discussion Forum, as well as finding out more about our Sponsors and Charity Supporters.
