Richard is head of the Equine Infectious Disease Surveillance (EIDS) group based at Cambridge Vet School, with extensive experience in equine disease surveillance and outbreak management. Richard works closely with the UK and international equine industries to deliver global surveillance insights and practical guidance on disease prevention. He also contributes to international risk assessments and biosecurity planning to support the safe running of international equestrian events.
