Olivia Ogińska
| MRCVS
Olivia graduated in 2016 from The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences, Poland. During her university course, she completed multiple surgical externships in referral centres in the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia. After graduation, Olivia moved to England to undergo surgical and rotating internships. Olivia was exposed to multiple different environments: GP, referral, university, research and charity, where she worked with veterinary professionals of diverse backgrounds, cultures and nationalities.
Alongside her years of professional training, Olivia has been mentoring and providing mental health support to her colleagues. The passion for veterinary wellbeing led her to undertake a master’s degree programme in Applied Positive Psychology at Anglia Ruskin University, where Olivia received the emotional intelligence coaching and appreciative inquiry training credentials.
Based on several years of veterinary and peer-support experience, combined with Positive Psychology training, at the beginning of 2020 Olivia created the Vet Gone Real platform, through which multiple individuals and veterinary teams receive emotional intelligence coaching and workplace culture training. Olivia is deeply passionate about veterinary workplace wellbeing, psychological safety and creating tools that help veterinary practitioners to thrive in their career and personal life.
Liv presents her innovative approach to shaping human-savvy leaders and building human-friendly veterinary workplaces through international congresses and puts her teaching into practice through serving veterinary teams as their Clinical Wellbeing Coach. She is also a certified workplace conflict mediator and consults veterinary leaders on difficult interpersonal situations in the workplace.
