Welfare implications on equines of the coronavirus pandemic
09:45 - Equine

Laura qualified from Bristol University in 2006 and went to work on the farm and equine side of a large mixed practice in rural Herefordshire. Whilst working with farm animals she became increasingly interested in equine veterinary work. After three busy years in Hereford, Laura moved to Seadown Veterinary Services to concentrate more on equine work and became an advanced practitioner in equine practice in 2013. Her clinical interests are mainly focused on lameness and poor performance investigations and reproductive work.

In 2017 Laura became an honorary veterinary surgeon for the New Forest Pony and Cattle Breeding Society, covering topics as diverse as the genetics of coat colour through to the implementation of microchipping foals at the autumn pony sales in the heart of the New Forest at Beaulieu. She became a director at Seadown Veterinary Services in 2018 and in spends her free time with her husband and two small children.
