Improve International was established in 1998 by a group of veterinary surgeons from across the UK. The company runs Continuous Professional Development (CPD) for veterinary professionals to help develop skills and knowledge required in practice.

APHA investigates incidents of suspected notifiable disease and reports of poor welfare in farmed animals. We carry out scanning surveillance to identify new or re-emerging threats to animal and public health. We are actively engaged in research into exotic and endemic disease, and have a world-clss reputation in this area. We currently employ over 300 vets in full and part-time posts, and also work in contractual partnership with vets and veterinary organisations across Great Britain.
